Built this for school and gaming as my previous laptop with a 1050 ti kept freezing and required a restart every hour or so. Started off with a 1200 cad budget and it ballooned into $1800 cad for the tower only (not including the misc peripherals) Runs CSGO at 200+ frames and is relatively stable so I'm pretty satisfied, even though my monitor is only 75 hz I plan on keeping this build for 5 years or upgrading my monitor latter. Regret not getting a 3700x for $200 more for the 2 extra cores and higher clock speed.

Have encountered a few black screens and weird glitches so AMD can def step up their software side a bit. The Noctua fans are noticeable sometimes when running above 50%.

Part Reviews

Excellent budget CPU with good enough single thread and great multi-thread performance for a low price. The included wraith stealth is pretty garbage though

CPU Cooler

Better than stock cooler for a low price. Temps are okay

Good features for the money

Cheapest DDR4 3200 at the time of buying. Runs well with no issues at default XMP profile

Really cheap at time of purchase for a blazing fast nvme drive Wish I bought the 1TB version

Video Card

Much cooler and quieter than reference for only a bit more

looks nice and has built in lighting.

Case Fan

Quality fans that move air

Case Fan

Lights up and moves air. Feels a bit cheap

Good bass that doesn't overpower

Would you recommend the Phanteks p300 case with the 5700 XT and ryzen 5 3600?

Looks like a solid system. How is MB and Monitor doing?
