Description

Overkill PC for my uses, mostly RPG games like The Witcher, some FPS like Destiny or DOOM, etc. But I'm a hobbyist and a perfectionist, so the upgrades just kind of snuck up on me.

All PSU cables made from scratch. Added some simple mods like painting the witcher signs on the AIO fans, and an acrylic panel at the bottom to mask the light bleed. My favorite, of course, is the witcher medallion on the pump housing.

Thanks! This is about the 8 or 9th PC I've cabled and modded. Can't say I'm pro, but I'd call myself an advanced amateur.

Thanks you might have helped me decide how to layout my cooler and fans. I have 9 corsair ll120s and an H150i and same case.

Wich vertical mount are you using?

It's the Lian Li bracket. It's a little pricey, ~$55, but it didn't require any modding. I did have to trim out some of the back of it to fit my PCI WiFi card, though.

Could you show me how you did this, as I want to do this with my card but I also have a small asus wifi card pci x4 but you giving me hope?

Sure thing, I'll link you some pics tonight after work. Basically though, with the Lian Li vertical mount adapter, it sits far enough away from the motherboard that there is room for a small WiFi card between the board and the GPU. The PCI riser cable just sort of drapes over it. I did have to use the PCI slot farthest down on the board.

Oh my goodness!! This is awesome!! I just recently finished Witcher 3 two days ago. Taking a break before I go do NG+. If you wouldn't mind my asking where did you get that action figure?

Oh and what brand is that vertical GPU mount?

Thank you! The Geralt figure is from Dark Horse, I got mine from Amazon.

I want to buy one but that means having to take off 1 fan from the bottom. I'm still currently planning to rebuild my current system and go for the lian li O11.. this NZXT H500 is too restrictive and my temps are suffering as summer approaches..

I'll say this, there's so much airflow and so many fan slots that cutting out that one wouldn't hurt your thermals. I get it, though - I ended up taking the figure out and putting in a 3rd fan in the bottom just because it felt more balanced that way. Geralt now lives atop my bookshelf, right next to my Arkham Knight Batman figure!

Thanks for the reply by the way.. That really looks like.. might just buy one and place it on top of the case haha
