+ Total (United States):
Few years ago I have bought node 202 for my HTPC and from there I have an idea to build an ultimate gaming pc in this case. Now the dreams come true.
Unfortunately 9900K is too hot for Scythe BS2 and further research is required. It is thottled so hard (up to 25%) and the cpu temps are around 100 degrees.
I am thinking about custom water loop now, and I will upgrade my PC ant this build later. More photos coming soon. Stay tuned.
UPD: Seems like I should said more precise about overheating. I mean it works fine at stock temperatures. But It cant reach 5Ghz. Actually it cant go over 4.7 Ghz because of overheating I think. This situation can be faced only at some tests, but not in real life (at leaast yet). CPU is standing below 65 degrees at gaming and below 70 during my working day. Sometimes it has been used hard by some software and it is ok until you wont load all cores at 100%.
GPU is stayed below 55 degrees while using CUDA for some tasks and reaches 85 degrees at gaming (83 at vertical case position).
And another problem is noise. Actually GPU is not quiet at idle. And the CPU cooler make noise even when I start MS office. I have tried to replace scythe fan with prolimatech vortex 14 and it completely solve that problem (temperatures is absolutely the same), but unfortunately case wont close with that fan.
UPD: Just have ordered Raijintek Pallas.
UPD: Pallas has not arrived for some reasons and I have changed my mind about this build. Now I am going to change this case for a bigger one. I do not recommend using so hot CPU in this case and do not recommend use BS2 because it too loud.
