This is terrible. In the third picture you can see cables to the left of the desk and underneath it. yuck. How dare you call this a build you peasant.

Any ways damn that is so clean, this is the first design that I have actually seen a nuka cola setup and being a fan of fallout this is a great build to see. Forgive my cable management self, honestly I can't complain. You got yourself a nice build. +1 for me

  • 2 points

I actually forgot to remove those cables. They are not even plugged in. Just hanging. I agree it bothers me now everytime I look at them.

  • 2 points

XD i get you man, in my setup i went overkill with cable management on my desk!

  • 3 points

I've never seen a Nuka Cola Quantum themed build. +1 For originality and an overall very clean build.

I believe the stock fans the S340 comes with are black. The PSU shroud is part of the case.

Fans came separate. The PSU cover comes with the s340 elite.

This system is very drool worthy, especially for the Fallout enthusiast. I really like Fallout games, so I can dig this. I prefer black themed systems over white but this looks so nice and clean. I love the microphone you have next to that glorious 34" monitor. It very well suits the white Fallout theme.

I have no opinion on the mouse and keyboard as I tend to ignore Logitech Products unless they're speakers or web cameras and I've never heard of that keyboard's brand "Anne" or whatever.

That CPU is awesome and since you're not using multiple PCI-E lanes there's no need to upgrade from it. Hardcore AIO liquid cooling solution to maintain low temperatures, not to mention it's RGB. The Taichi motherboard is just plain awesome. USB 3.1 Type C thunderbolt connectivity FTW and aesthetically it's beautiful. Having dual gigabyte ethernet, and WiFi/Bluetooth is a major plus as well.

I love Crucial Ballistix RAM, very high quality stuff. Great CAS latency of 16. 48GB of random access memory will ensure you that you'll never run out of head room for software application usage. Awesome.

I would write a longer review but I must take leave. Overall however, I have to give this build a 9.5/10. (Sorry, I don't like your choice of solid state drives. I would have went with the Mushkin Reactors instead and OCZ drives are just lousy in general.)

Amazing job ! It's a great inspiration for many people ( i bought the same case and Ikea desk + drawers ) even bought the white Anne Pro keyboard. Your NZXT S340 Elite is damn sexy but i noticed 1 small detail many overlooked : the PCI cover slot covers - what brand did you use Fractal Design by chance ? Because the original S340 Elite are black.
Love the details !

Absolutely use Fractal PCI covers.

Great question. So I got the 5930K because it allows up to 40 PCIE lanes. I could have got the 6800K cheaper at one point but realized it was actually worse. I have no issues at all with anything being glitchy or lack of bandwidth. I have 16 used by gpu + 4 M.2 +4 M.2 = 24 Lanes used. That would be how much most standard CPUS have. However I still have 16 lanes available for another GPU. I've never tried SLI on this board so I could not tell you that experience with that.
