Description

I built this PC as a step into pc gaming. my goal was to play most games at 1080p medium to high settings with reasonable frame rates. It does exactly that. I am for the most part completely satisfied with the build. But after building the system, there are a few things I would change. Such as when creating a parts list for this build, I had completely overlooked the fact that the board was micro ATX in a full sized ATX case. It's not that big a deal but the system does look at bit odd with the space. it did bring around a few challenges when building too. So, as of right now, the mobo is being held in with only screws simply because i wasn't able to reinstall the standoffs in the correct locations. The other thing is only having one stick of ram. It's good for upgrade ability but with a system like this (one that I do not plan on upgrading), I would have preferred the 2x4 kit. P.S. sorry for the bad pics its all i could get with what I had.

Part Reviews

CPU

Slightly overpriced but good performance for a dual core.

Motherboard

Fairly basic mobo. But I liked the fact that it hes an m.2 slot.

Memory

Nothing bad to say about this ram at least in my experience with it.

Storage

A well built hard drive that is reliable. It's nowhere near as fast as an ssd and it shows. its a shame I couldn't fit one into my budget.

Video Card

Good gpu for the price but an extra gig of vram would have been welcome.

Case

Absolutely beautiful case for people on a tight budget. It's big and easy to build in for first timers like me. And the psu shroud makes cable management so much easier.

Power Supply

450W and an 80+ Bronze certification. As of right now its holding up nicely but with its cheap price it makes me wonder when my system is going to blow up.

Only critique I have is if you got only 1 hardrive which 1tb is plenty you could have upgraded to a 1060 6gb instead of a 3gb card

Sorry for the late reply. The reason I got two hard drives was because i had originally ordered one from best buy. Three weeks later after all of my parts come, it still hasnt shown up. so, i decided to buy another and refund my money. The day after that the drive shows up and they charge me for it. i didnt want the hassle of sending it back so i kept it. The day after that they charge me for it. Long story short, the second drive was unplanned.

And now after seeing this, I regret not returning it and getting a better cpu or the 6gb

Only thing i have to say is why buy 2 one TB hard drive when you can buy a 2 Tb hard drive for 60 at the same speeds as the western digital caviar blue

I ordered the first one from best buy and it never showed up, so i bought a second. then, about a week after i built my system the first one showed up and i decided to keep it.
