Lian-Li Modest Budget Build $800

One of my best friends nephew was planning on buying a pre built gaming pc. He had $800 to spend now and my friend asked me to do the build for him. I had an extra 1060 gtx, ram, riing fans and extention cable for the build already

This is a client build that has watercooling and upgrading in mind. He is young and wants watercooling already. More ram, better cpu, and gpu in the future so this case was a perfect choice for watercooling.

When building this I included the Thermaltake Riing fans, led lighting and psu cables that I had on hand

I also sold him the 1060 gtx and the ram sticks that is included in the price. He told me he had $800 to spend right now. So this is what I built for him

I had a 1060 gtx from my Ultra Ultraviolet Build which I added a 1070 ti. Client will upgrade later when he wants a water-cooling loop

I had a spare set of Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory I added to the build, client will be ordering another 8gb

I had 4 extra Thermaltake Riing 12 fans & a songle 140mm riing fan I added to the build

I had extra Red/White EZDIY Sleeved Cable Extension I added to this build

Case used:

Lian Li PC-O11DW 011 Dynamic Tempered Glass on The Front Chassis Body SECC ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case White

This is the best case I've ever had the opportunity to work with. I love it. I really want to buy one for myself and transfer one of my watercooled builds into it. I highly recommend it!

About me.....

PC lover, builder, gamer...etc. I build and upgrade my rigs in the house all the time and friends and coworkers ALL either get a build, rebuild, or upgrade from me...Just love to build. Most of my builds are not mine on this site. Only 3 of them. The rest are build I have done for others or older builds.

Great rig for that price, you are right about the case, it's spectacular.

Wow. That simply looks amazing, though for 22 completed builds I suppose this is about par. Cheers.

I do really like the look of this case. Though personally, if I go for it, I would get the DX version because I'm less of a white case person, but the white/red look here really worked out.

On the note of water cooling however, what skill cap would you say would match hard line? I would LOVE to do one in the future and soft tubing doesn't do it justice in my opinion.

My first build is my Project Xeon in my list. It came out sweet. I did a lot of YouTube watching and did all my bends on my first try. Be patient and have fun

Thank you. Well I had the gpu, ram, fans, and extension cables on hand to sell for the build and I purchased the cpu for $159 and the board was a good discount too. The case was a must because it's bad azz and future upgrades potential. For the actual $750 I'm happy with the choices for 1080p gaming

No. I build pcs for friends and family or people locally. More of a hobby than anything

great looking and clean build. I did have a question though, do you (or i guess the person you built it for) run into heating problems when running air cooling in this case?

I was thinking of getting the case for a build im working on (but i cant decide on air or those aio cooling options).

Thanks for the input!

Well he is running a low temp gpu and low watt cpu. This case if not watercooled should be fine. The ventilation send great. With all 5 fans running you can feel air move through the air vents on tge case. I don't think it should be an issue
