Description

This PC started when my friend gave me his old GTX 750 from his pc that he recently upgraded to a GTX 970. So I though well I might as well do something with it so I traded the GTX 750 for a R7 260x on Hardwareswap and went from there 860K was my logical choice quad core at 70$ you cant beat it. I even oc'd the 860k at 4.2ghz even on the stock cooler

It runs great and it looks good and that is all I ask for.

Part Reviews

CPU

Price for performance is just crazy. I got mine at Amazon on sale for 70$ free shipping. Can't beat it.

Motherboard

Worked great didn't auto detect my 2133Mhz ram off the bat but, a few tweaks had it going no issues even has some moderate OCing

Storage

I was skeptical on hybrid drives until I bought this one. Well worth the 20$ to get this over a standard Hard Drive.

Video Card

Got used. Worked great but, for some reason the PCI-E hook in thingy was on the back of the card adding un-needed extra length for no reason. Great card played BF4 at medium/high settings on 64 player conquest 60fps

Case

It's ok. Nothing special and at this price I didn't really expect it to be. It's fine for what it is but, does feel a bit cheap. Do like the blue LED's though

Power Supply

Modular PSU comes with everything I needed works great and very silent. Rosewill makes great PSU's. Seriously underrated. Was a new series I think when I purchased it that's why the price was so high. Its only around 40$ now. Go for it! Glacier series are great psu's

Runs all at 1080p I tried Black Ops 3 got over 60fps at maxed out settings multiplayer but had to put resolution scale at 80% or could play all low settings at 100% resolution scale

GTA5 was about 50 - 70 fps 1080p normal/high settings

Diablo 3 ran perfectly

do not own any fallout game but, skyrim runs great at max settings 60fps

How is the PSU working for you? I'm thinking about getting it bc its semi modular and cheap but I've seen some bad reviews.

Those and CPU coolers I don't trust for over clocking the CPU because it will work for now but may give trouble in the future or not just trying to help. Good name for your pc and good part list I almost built a PC similar to that but got laptop instead my game console is and Xbox 360 and n64.
