Description

This build has been completed for a few months now, I was just too lazy to ever post the completed build on here until now. It was my first build, and I built it using the money I earned from working a job for two summers, and to say I'm proud of it would be a huge understatement! I loved the months of research I did to educate myself on the PC community, and I'm addicted to all of the latest parts news now! I loved the build, and not once ran into any problems, most likely because of how extremely careful I was. I listed the power supply as $0 because it was a bundle deal with the graphics card that cost $510 for the both of them. I also listed the amazing Bose sound system as $0 because I was fortunate enough to receive it as a gift. The final thing I'll mention is the monitor, which is an amazing one to say the least. I got it at an extreme discount a few months ago when Office Depot was either running an amazing sale on it or had a pricing error. Either way, I received a $460 monitor for $180. The tv I listed I already had and use as a second monitor for things like hardware performance while I'm gaming or a second screen for browsing the web.

Thank you to pcpartpicker for all of the help with the amazing build list function, and thank you to everyone in the PC community that helped me ascend to the master race!

Part Reviews

CPU

Amazing price to performance, can't recommend enough!

Motherboard

I have no complaints, as this is my first build, but it's nothing fancy. I'll buy a higher-end board at some point.

Storage

Get's the job done, higher start up speeds than I've ever seen on a PC, but then again I've never used a PC with an SSD before.

Video Card

Amazing card for high frame 1080p gaming, and very easy to OC. Love the lights on it.

Case

Such an easy case to build in, and I've always loved me some black/red combos.

Case Fan

Seems like a somewhat cheap fan, but of course it was only $8. It does what it's supposed to. The red LED's are almost non-existent though, don't believe what the picture shows.

Monitor

Simply amazing monitor. It does seem to disconnect every once in a blue moon, but all you have to do is unplug the cord in the monitor and plug it back in. This monitor is so amazing it doesn't even lose a star for that.

Custom

It's a gaming chair. Don't expect an awesome chair at this price point, but it's better than nothing and matches my build.

Custom

The earmuffs aren't the most comfortable for long sessions, and if the room is decently warm they will make your ears sweat. I bought them at $50, and they're worth that much. But DO NOT buy them at the $80-$100 price point I usually see them at. There are much better headsets out there at that price point.

OwO I see that wallpaper. Aaa rip you paid so much for that graphics card... why didn't you go for a 1080 in that price range?

You'll note that the GPU price is actually for a GPU + PSU bundle. Not a bad price when you factor that in. Plus it was a few months ago when GPU prices were still up.

Yeah, back then I HAD to snag that deal for a great, very reputable PSU and a card I originally never thought I would start out with
