Description

My first build. I had enough of slow running SolidWorks with my current computer. I hope to also use this computer for some games. In the future, I may upgrade the graphics. Accidentally bought 260 pin ram but have new 288 pin ram on the way (like the one listed in parts). Will install windows 10. If using this motherboard, be sure that the packaging says "AMD Ryzen Desktop 2000" ready or else it will not work with this processor (or other new processors) instead you will need to install an older processor and update the bios before going back to the processor of your processor of choice. Only thing I didn't like was the evga power supply connectors felt cheap and at times were hard to connect.

What did you have before that computer? Somebody asked me for a Solidworks build and I'm not familiar with Quadro features.

I might end up throwing in a gaming card (RX/GTX) and hope it has enough power for CAD works.
