Defiant (Gaming Rig)

by Defiant

Description

8700K at 5GHz on all cores at 1.35 volts.

Booting Windows 10 from 960 Pro, 3 other SSDs for game storage.

All 4 dimms running at 3200MHz via XMP.

2x Corsair ML140 Pro as intake on the front mounted H115i, pump mounted upside down because tubes would push against glass side panel too much for my liking.

1x Corsair ML140 Pro and 1x Corsair ML120 Pro as exhaust fans.

GTX 1080 has not been overclocked, runs at up to ~83C under gaming (at 4K) in some games. May need to adjust fan curve or check the thermal paste on it.

Using Corsair individually sleeved cable kit to replace the hard to work with flat cables that come with the RM750i.

Commander Pro acts as hub for fans/lightning strips/internal USB. RM750i and H115i connect to Commander Pro via USB. All fans and lighting can be configured through Corsair Link as well.

Mellanox ConnectX-2 (not in pictures) for 10 gigabit link directly to server via SFP+ direct attach cable.

You might want to re-configure h115i as top exhaust and add intake fans to help cooling your gpu

edit. i think it will only fit 240mm rad (h100i v2)

Unfortunately the H115i doesn't fit up there, it hits the heatsinks on the motherboard.
