My main gaming PC (Built by a 15 years old)

by Dbwarren

I build PCS for a side job and this is one of the ones I built for myself. I have upgraded it to an SSD which made it even better than my 1TB WD HDD I had in it. I hope you enjoy it and let me know your opinions! I will be posting another build later. Sorry for the messy desk. I am using a stock cooler, forgot to change that in the parts list. Im not using the 212 EVO

In my opinion a newer ryzen 3 1200 processor will perform soooo much better for the price (around 15 dollars more) and especially with that 1050 ti, But if you scored some deals here and there then....

I guess putting a ryzen cpu in would mean spending money on another motherboard and ddr4 ram sooooo yea. Nice build anyways!

why didn't you get a mesh edition case? you know that front panel restricts airflow a LOT right?

Hey man. Can you explain the process as to how you build PCs on the side? I am going to be building my first ever build soon, and If I have fun with it I would like to try and turn it into a service. Help another teenager out and tell us how you did it my man :D. Lol seriously though, that is so cool. I totally respect the side hustle. I am working about 25 hours a week as a 16 year old kid, and if I could be able to build PCs on top of that it would be so much fun. I am really looking forward to your reply.

EDIT: please look at my pm

building a computer is really easy. there are tons of guides on the internet if you just google it. im sure if you posted on a facebook group or craigslist or put up fliers around your community you would probably land 1 or 2 people who need help. otherwise, it's probably not something most people need help with when they are doing it. i mean you're looking at mostly teenaged to mid 30's white males with disposable income, so. lol

Yeah. I don't really see any room to expand in terms of the business model. I'm just hoping to land a couple people like you said. I'd imagine there isn't really a local market for this kind of stuff (at least where I live).

Woah you build PC's as a job? How?

maggotshero 10 Builds 2 points 8 months ago

I mean, its not really that difficult, I do it from time to time when people come to me. I started out building them for my family and after that, I started building PC's and selling them off of facebook. I use facebook personally because i'm only friends with people I know, so the client base is more trustworthy than say craigslist.

great job man! My coworker has an fx-6300 that he has been running for a few years and it does not have any issue playing the games he does.

i got the same case for my build. however, i do believe i should have waited for the mesh white version because it has better airflow

Balmerian 1 point 8 months ago

The airflow in the h500p is awful and I would be interested in what temps you are getting under load.
