Build

Cyber Power Built PC

by Dyce101

Description

Won at Blizzcon Gigabyte stand via raffle. Parts listed below. Apologies, the case is in fact an S340, I just couldn't find the 340 on partpicker. Same with the gfx card. I also have this PC posted on ebay. http://r.ebay.com/nKL1YJ

Holy sh!t that's not bad. Especially for the price of free, but seriously get that thing off the carpet!

mlach 4 Builds 4 points 51 months ago

super jelly over here! just an fyi, you listed the wrong case and gpu, it's an S340 from nxzt, not the 630. and the 980 is the standard one, not g1.

I get that, just saying that both parts are found on this site.

you lucky little

Liam81 2 points 51 months ago

I hope the 1600W PSU can keep this baby running.

Congrats on winning

WalrusRick 1 point 50 months ago

Are you ******** me? A 600w - 750w psu could easily EASILY handle this build.

Liam81 3 points 50 months ago

Yes I am...... My comment was supposed to contain a thing called sarcasm.

With the efficiency of the 900 series GPU's I felt it was obvious. Perhaps I should have included a "LOL" or something.

WalrusRick 0 points 50 months ago

I assumed you were just mental and yes it was quite obvious due to the efficiency of the 900 series but I missed that, so sorry about that.

Liam81 1 point 50 months ago

No need to be sorry and I am a bit "out there" so the mental comment is quite apropos.

If I may bother you.... Do you use an online wattage calculator for PSU's? Or could you suggest one?

I'd appreciate it very much.

WalrusRick 1 point 50 months ago

Suggest a PSU for what kind of build?

Lachlantula 1 Build 2 points 51 months ago

And my dad thought he was lucky winning an iPad 2 a few years back...

SecretlyTK 2 points 51 months ago

Lucky bast4rd.

theninja35 1 point 51 months ago

That case is an S340, not an H630. CyberPowerPC custom paints the S340s red or orange, and that cable management bar gives it away.

xdenttim 1 Build 1 point 51 months ago

read the description and then re think your previous comment m8

l13199l 3 Builds 3 points 51 months ago

Not the guy who you replied to, but the reading the description tells you nothing other than that he won it. That is an s340. A quick google search will confirm that the h630 looks nothing like that

xdenttim 1 Build 1 point 51 months ago

i wasn't referring to the case he was saying that it was a Cyberpower but he stats that in the description

theninja35 0 points 51 months ago

Yeah, I know it was CyberPowerPC. It's the name of the fricken computer. I'm saying that CPPC custom paint ONLY the S340 like that.

TrollMadden 1 point 51 months ago

You are so incredibly lucky! I'm so jealous of you.

Duck7713 1 point 51 months ago

Congrats!

You are the luckiest man alive

smallie 1 point 51 months ago

If you're entering a competition to just sell the computer if you win then I don't think you should enter at all. I bet there were people in need of a decent PC, and you won it just to make yourself some extra cash. If you want to enter a competition to win cash; enter the lottery.

EAVS1891 2 points 51 months ago

that may be true, but he probably entered not thinking he was going to win which a lot of us do and when he did well that's his prize and he can do what he wants with it. i mean he would have kept it and already had an amazing computer that still contradicts what you said "someone else who didn't have a PC could have used it" so... i mean you argument is extremely invalid. hes a winner winner chicken dinner and than he sold his chicken dinner to get a filet mignon. that his personal choice

smallie 0 points 51 months ago

Your post is extremely hard to read, but I'll do my best and try and reply. I was saying that I bet there were children who don't have the means to buy an amazing computer like this that would have loved to win this and would have taken good care of it and used it a lot, however, OP entered and is deciding to sell it without even using it once.

I think OP is a **** and I am willing to bet my own PC that there were many people that entered that were in dire need of an upgrade or just wanted a PC and would have taken good care of it, yet OP selfishly entered just to sell it.

EAVS1891 1 point 51 months ago

you wouldn't have entered that contest because you already had a computer? no you would have entered because you know your chances are slim to none but guess what you won. so you would take this pretty top of the line computer and just give it to someone? i highly doubt you would.

smallie 0 points 51 months ago

No, I wouldn't enter if I didn't need a new PC or if I was just going to sell it.

EAVS1891 2 points 51 months ago

have you ever entered in a contest to win a new car but you already owned a vehicle?

jacobs4525 1 Build 1 point 49 months ago

What if a raffle has multiple prizes? A kid I knew entered the Gigabyte lottery at PAX East trying to get a new graphics card, but instead he won an X99 motherboard. So he sold it and bought a graphics card, since he didn't have an X99 CPU.

mariothetec -2 points 51 months ago

I see that you got the cpu from jays2cents vid on the review +1

ThatsPoorlyDrawn 3 Builds 1 point 51 months ago

It's Jayztwocents* and he never said anything about picking the parts himself. Did you even read the description?

mariothetec 1 point 51 months ago

oh well have fun gaming on that 980

Ninjadudewhat 2 Builds 1 point 51 months ago

As well as that, if he did get it himself, what's to say he's even heard of Jay? It may seem to some people as if skunkworks is the best build out there & that he has an amazing channel, but there is actually quite a big chance he's never heard of him.

BetaViking -6 points 51 months ago

get a better psu and cooler, PSU will most likely explode, and get a h100i.

MaskedMonster21 1 Build 2 points 51 months ago

That is a very decent CPU cooler, no need to replace it

vikingXcore 4 Builds 1 point 51 months ago

What? No it won't if it is the G series.

Johnny Guru Review

Tech Powerup Review

HARDOCP Review

The only thing I would probably do is load up more stuff so that the user get's at least 60-80% more like 20-80%, so actually he'd be okay as is of the total wattage so as to reach that peak efficiency. Not needed, but hey, it's still not a bad PSU. I hate that it has a 3yr warranty though. That'd be the only thing to consider.

ThatsPoorlyDrawn 3 Builds 1 point 51 months ago

Not sure what you meant there, but agreeing, this guy will be fine, he has about 1100 watts not being used, no need to worry about the PSU.

ThatsPoorlyDrawn 3 Builds -2 points 51 months ago

What the f*** is wrong with you, you Corsair fanboy? That cooler is great! Not every build needs to bow to Corsair.
