Description

I recently sold my RX 470 on eBay and bought a MSI Gaming X GTX 1060. I also got a SSD which has been great so far.

Game performance:

CSGO- Runs smooth at max settings

War Thunder- Also smooth at max settings

Rocket League- Same story

BF1- Will update

Titanfall 2- Will update

Potential upgrades in the future:

Modular PSU, Z170 board, maybe 16GB RAM

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Audible at all times, makes somewhat of a rattling noise. The fan also touches my RAM with the bottom corner and not top corner. It seems to be leaning down but I don't know why.

Storage

Everything feels snappier since install.

Video Card

Sold my RX 470 and made enough to essentially get a free upgrade. Super quiet and no complaints so far.

Case

Cable management space is a little tight but not awful. Overall decent case for the price.

Power Supply

Not the easiest to manage but can't complain for the price.

Mouse

Comfortable even for long periods of use.

Just curious, where did you get that wallpaper from?

As for the CPU Cooler, do you still have your stock cooler? if so, id use it. Nice budget build.

I found it on Google. I can get you the link for the site if you want. I do still have it but I will probably just get another cooler.

Great Build, there are only two things I would do:

  1. AOC makes 75hz 1080p monitors for about $20 then yours, so that would've saved ya $40 bucks.

  2. Spice up your wall behind the setup. maybe a painting, a stand with a POP figure, just something that makes the whole setup come together.

I got them for $100 each. I forgot to mention that the prices listed were current prices, not what I paid. I'll probably put a corkboard up on the wall and maybe posters or pictures.
