I needed something with some serious horsepower to be able to do some rendering work and also multitasking programs without really breaking a sweat. This build is pretty much the result of doing some research and figuring out what is the best for me.

Part Reviews

A bang for your buck for anyone seeking for a processor that can handle multithreaded tasks quite easily.

CPU Cooler

Can't really go wrong with a giant air cooler, it does its job at keeping your processor nice and cool.

Thermal Compound

It's thermal paste. It does keep your processor nice and cold. And it also keeps your processor happy.

Great for those seeking to push their processors a bit more in a ITX build, and it does come with a lot of goodies and a solid BIOS. Plus some RGB.

Small, low profile, and easy to install.

Wanted something a bit fast and speedy for doing rendering work and gaming on, and also function as a system drive. It's blazing fast and does what it needs to.

Great drive for mass storage, and the flash memory included helps out long term.

Video Card

Comes with great software support, stays cool, just looks a bit.. different from the previous generation of cards.

Quite spacious for a ITX case, plenty of grommets for cable routing, and room for mounting storage devices. Great case, it just doesn't come with enough accessories for those building in it.

Power Supply

Went with something with good build quality and reliability in the long term. It just looks great in my build and does the job well.

I wasn't expecting the quality with this particular display, but it's amazing for a 32" display. Samsung really did a good job with build quality and the panel itself.

I love the tactile switches on these, and the sound they make when you type on them. SteelSeries also provides an excellent software to tinker around with RGB and well, general customization.

It's a great mouse that I got for a good price, and the weights were easy to install with this thing. Plus some cool options you can do in the software as well.

Quite stiff cables to work with but, they look great in my build.

The most unnecessary purchase in my build but, I need that RGB.

Great sounding cans that also include RGB, and a volume dial to control chat volume. Nothing bad with this, and really comfortable.

Great build! I agree that the monitor might be a bit big for your desk, but it’s worth it for its purpose. How’s that 2080 holding so far? Where did you get your monitor from?
