Description

I wanted to build PC's for my niece and nephew for their Christmas as they don't have a computer [ so I have built 2 of these and I split the 32GB of ram between them]. I have changed this list quite a bit from the start but this is the end result. The system looks good and was fine to put together, the hardest and really only problem I had was the cable management at the back there is not enough room for the amount of cables this build produces [It would have been better without the PSU extensions but it does make the front of the case look better and the fan hubs that come with the case fans don't fit in the rear so had to be placed in the front].

That is one (two) generous gift you just gave. Also, nice job!

I would have been the evil uncle and said something like "one of them doesn't perform as well as the other, so decide who gets what." Then leave them to figure out which one was better.

Evil uncle first gave them 1 present and told them they had to share it and it was for house work! They didn't really like that idea and didn't twig they had a comu cleaner air duster for cleaning the computers when they looked at it. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B073F9NY1X/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They both like Assassins Creed games and Star Wars games that they've played on my computer, but I gave them £50 each gift vouchers for steam to get what they want.

looks great. they sure are lucky to have a great uncle! i have a question or two about that case though. I am looking to buy it for two builds as well, one for my brothers and one for my friend. are the white front fans that are included able to change color to red? if not ill just get two more fans but if they do that would be nice to know.

as far as i know, they cannot be changed, you can find some cheap RGB fans from like 8 to 15 bucks

Afraid the case fans are white led they don't change colour.

The build looks awesome and great parts selection! The fractal design cases make such great cases at an affordable price. What was the use for the mounting bracket? Did the case not include 3.5" drive bays? or preferred placement closer to the optical drive? Just was curious, but awesome build.

The mounting bracket had two reasons 1 kept the wiring to 1 sata cable as the triple plug does the rgb controller, DVD drive and HDD drive and 2 lets me fit the bottom fan in the case.

do you connect all RGB fans to one RGB header?

No I linked them to the the cooler master rgb controller, front and bottom fans to the first channel and the rear and top fans to the second channel and the cpu cooler to the third and the led strip the fourth channels so that there is a split in the colours so the kids can change them if they want..I didn't use the rgb header on the board at all.
