Description

Put this build for my Son as his graduation gift. He mainly plays Fortnite and World of Warcraft.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great Performance for the price. I used the cooler from my 2700X

Video Card

I picked this GPU from a guy for $190. Great GPU for 1080P gaming

Monitor

Great monitor, specially since I bought new from a co-worker for only $200

True it is actually a Legend PSU that I bought in South Kore but could not find a link to it. I plan to buy an EVGA G3 650W later for him.

Might want to consider switching that PSU. It is pretty poor.

Here is a review of its bigger brother = http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=413

The 800W unit is not very good. It may provide sufficient power for now, but it is not reliable and of quality. For the price you paid for it, you could have got a much better PSU at a lower price. Just a suggestion.

You should add an ssd later on as that will Grateley improve overall speed of pc. It won't give an fps boost though

Will do. I will put a MX 500 next month. Thanks!

Yeah even the cheapest 120gb ssd. Will be a massive improvement. Just put your os and programs on there and you will be good to go

Most likely will be a 250 GB SSD since this is my son's PC but on mine https://pcpartpicker.com/b/TgZRsY I went with a 500GB SSD. And you are 100% right SSD will improve immensely the performance.

hey looks like a great choice im thinking of getting the same. can i just ask though i see in that build you got the cooler master devastator combo. im thinking of getting the master keys lite combo and know that there slightly similar. what are you opinions and experiences with this keyboard

Master key Elite you can customized more due to the RGB patterns but it terms of performance they are almost the same IMO. For my other build I went with the Mechanical Keyboard K555 INDRAH Redragon Gaming Keyboard 104 Key RGB LED ( more mechanical feel to it) and Redragon M711 COBRA Gaming Mouse.

Monitor is great for 1080P gaming, I have the 32" on my personal build https://pcpartpicker.com/b/TgZRsY , When my co-worker told me he wanted to sell it for $200, bought it on the spot lol.

Yes you are right the 1700 is a bit overkill. The combination has a 16% bottleneck effect. But the price of the card at $190 was to low not to buy it. Will see once the next GPU gen comes out I might buy a new one for me and pass the my 1070 ti to him.
