Description

Hi guys and gals , thanks for checking out my build pretty nervous to post this up as ive seen some of the awesome work you guys do!!

Ive been using a crappy laptop which is just about dead so I wanted to build a pc to mostly handle video editing and light gaming. I must admit I did a heap of research and soul searching to get this over the line.

The theme was initially white with red lighting so that was the reason for most of the part choices, after playing with the RBG I kinda like how its set up now, can always change it in the future.

I went over budget by a fair bit on this computer but I'm happy with the final result for a first build.....the missus not so much lol.

Huge props to those that helped me with part choices and build tips!

I ran cinebench and got 3348 hope its good for what I spent lol

Feedback and tips recommended, cheers guys !

I've never seen that case but I love it! It has a cool architectural look to it. And usually I'm not a fan of the rainbow RGB, but there's something about your build that makes it work! Beautiful color mix and it just looks good on the black and white.

you would only need a ryzen 5 for a 1070 gpu so you could have saved $100 for a better quality monitor.

Im hoping to use it for 4k editing, the extra cores and threads were why I went R7 but thanks for the feedback.

in that case you're fine but when gaming you are practically bottle necking your cpu and gpu with a 60hz monitor. I would suggest a 120 - 144hz monitor for a 1070. A 60hz monitor would simply not keep up with your high fps. The Build looks nice asf tho

Great Job! And that's a great cinebench score! It's the 16 threads with modern architecture! For comparison, an i7-7700k gets around 1000 on cinebench.

Nice Build! 0_0! Btw What Do U Think About That MotherBoard? Is It Good? (Btw Couldn't You Get a 1080 Instead Of The ROG Version Of the 1070ti?Wasnot It The Better Choice?)

The mobo is great so far, it looks awesome and has the goods. I may upgrade the GPU at a later date but the 1070ti is cool for now. cheers for the comments!

Not the submitter, but yes it does. All Ryzen CPUs come with a cooler in the box.
