Description

This machine is going to be used for basic computing and light gaming. The combination of parts looks cool and works good. I had a view problems with a malfunctioning monitor but that's all resolved now.

Part Reviews

CPU

Excellent 'budget' skylake CPU.

CPU Cooler

Really solid cooler for the price. Mounts the same way as stock coolers, which is really nice.

Motherboard

Kind of overpriced in my opinion but still really solid and feature-rich.

Memory

Best kit for the money, really good performance, GG Kingston.

Storage

Cheapest harddrive I could find, works as advertised.

Video Card

What's there to say about the best 'budget' GPU? Not much, it works really well for the money. Oh, and the 6GB VRAM are nice for VR and such things.

Optical Drive

Who needs an optical drive in 2016? Well, you don't need one, but it has good sentimental value...

Software

The latest and greatest Office suite from Microsoft. Not bad for the price...

Keyboard

If you don't need a Christmas tree on your desk all year but still want a really good keyboard, this is the one for you. Also, it's very well priced.

Because the table is the same color as the floor, the case on the 2nd pic looked huuuuge!

Yeah, it really looks that way. It's just a normal ATX case though.

Nice build! I'm assuming you're overclocking with the base clock method?

I love all of it, especially the graphics card (as I have the same one), but why did you go with a overclocking mobo without a overclocking cpu like the i5-6600k

I really liked the mobo with its lighting features, but didn't have the budget for a proper oc setup.

I was also anxious about it, but it was our only choice. The power supply isn't showing any overheating signs, so we're okay for now.

That's a solution I suppose. As I said, the computer is totally fine with the carpet.
