Wireless Network Adapter
This is my first build meant for gaming and general use. A huge step up over my HP laptop that is showing its age with more recent games. If anyone can think of a better name, suggest one! I bought my parts over the course of a few months to save some money here and there, and I am ultimately pleased with how it all turned out. It wasn't too hard, but I didn't expect it to take so long; it was built over two days (with breaks of course lol). I love Microcenter, everyone there is so nice to work with and I've never had anything shoved in my face.
I had initially thought that dropping the CPU in place would be the hardest part; but the XFX PSU cables didn't like to be pulled out once they were put in... The only problem I have run into is that I didn't receive a power cable for the PSU from the seller but he is sending it ASAP.
I love the Air 540, it's a really unique case and the second chamber it very helpful for hiding cables. I also love the new MSI z97 board's look, although I wish it had more red, but I guess that's what the sleeved cables will be for. My monitor hasn't arrived just yet so we used one of my brother's for the test boot and set up. Having only had pre-built systems, this MSI BIOS blew me away! It was so easy to navigate and get around, as opposed to the old HP or Dell BIOS.
In the future I want to add some sleeved extensions (not exactly liking the rainbow cables :P) a fan controller, an NZXT hue, and an aftermarket cooler for possible overclocking. But it gives me something to look forward to.
The only downside is that I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow, so I won't be able to use it for a few days. Let me know what you think!/critiques/suggestions
