Description

I don't know if this will be posted but hey, a raspberry pi is technically a computer so I might as well give it a shot. I bought a raspberry pi from amazon and found a neat little project I could do with it to make it more than just a raspberry pi. Most of these projects take time and you don't end up keeping them but this project could as well last a while...

The part list is a collection of what I used to get this running (+1 HDMI cable). It also contains the specs for the Raspberry Pi. The BCM 2837 link brings you to Amazon to the Raspberry Pi 3 model I used, the rest are pretty explanatory. I tried to add prices up to show you how a project like this would cost (+1 Monitor).

The monitor ik is completely overkill. I know the PC community says nothing is overkill but to play games at 480p at this price point definitely is no matter how much you deny it. I just had it laying around because I swapped it for a TV for my main setup (coming soon).

I won't explain the process here because I want to keep this short(ish) but here is a link to the video I did to make the project possible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3H-JYGL9AOs&t=14s

The entire project costs us what we had +$50 for the Raspberry Pi and the accessories. Hope you enjoyed.
