Description

Something I've wanted to do for awhile is get some nice custom cables and cable mod was actually quite easy to do and pretty fast delivery even for Canada. I did go with extensions as the price was a Lil easier to swallow and then if I do swap PSU down the way I can still use them.

The new corsair mag lev fans are incredibly quite doing push pull on the H115i keeps the temps incredibly cool, and you can just crank them up and there so quite i love them.

I had 3 AF120 fans kicking around from other builds so put them in the front of the case just for a lil extra air flow compared to the stock ones nzxt supplies.

64gb of 3200hz ram is a bit over kill but just looks so nice when the red and white are going off inside the case.

I've use the gaming 7 mobo for other builds and its a great mobo for the features and price.

950 Pro being just OS and a few other apps.

The other 3 ssds are all gaming only drives the 850s already full, I usually would have stuck with 850s but crazy deal on the mx300 made it hard to say no.

The Noctis 450 is an amazing case for what you can fit in it and the way its setup you can fit quite a bit for the size. I love the h440 but being able to do push pull on this just makes it that much nicer. Also the black and red matches the theme.

Currently only one 1080 strix in the pics as the other one is on order but he cablemod cables are just waiting to be plugged in. The strix are a bit longer than some others but i do love how cool they stay under heavy loads and OC'd

I have the same mobo. It only supports 2133mhz but supports other versions oc. How would I be able to get higher speeds or is it a waste of money. I heard it scales it back down to 2133mhz even if you have a 3200mhz which is appropriate for this motherboard.

my memory runs at 3200 once you enable xmp in the bios, i honestly don't know if its a huge improvement, but i did it more for futureproof from what I've read kaby lake uses 2600sh ddr4 ram. but if you already have 2133 i wouldn't worry about dropping a bunch of cash on faster.

Nice thanks, I'm waiting for the Kaby Lake as well and know it should be 2133/2400 compatible. I'm starting a new build right now so parts are being based off of skylake but from what I read the Kaby Lake will be compatible as well. So it is going to be a fresh brand new build with water cooling. I'm going all in this time :) I think I'll go with a slightly cheaper ram @3000 MHz since there isn't much difference besides a lower case latency of 14 which is better anyhow...not much difference in 200mhz

Yeah it just seems like a good area to be at. Way faster than normal, I mean I'm ganna over clock the heck out of this pc, custom liquid cooled for effect but more for show. I just always wanted a nice rig and I decided im going to have one. I'm even going to go with 2x evga ftw 1080 in sli with a triple curved screen monitor set.

Thanks for the invite to the show. And, to think, we didn't even need to buy a ticket. +1

Gorgeous! Beautifully organized and neat. I love that with that case you can do external fans and still cover them up.

nice i would have personally gone for a higher ratedPSU but that's just me, I noticed when OC my system 650 wasn't enough it would crash all the time.
