Built this Rig cause I thought I was due for a upgrade. My old machine that I put together in 2013 or so, used to have a i7 3770k and GTX760 with an Asus Z77 board. So I got together some money and made this "Budget" build. Originally purchased a 1060 6gb but after I got a 1440p monitor, I realized the 1060 was nowhere near strong enough. So I got this 1070Ti! Hope you all enjoy the build!
4.3Ghz at 69c with 1.13v.
REALLY BIG. And will cut you if you are not careful.
Everybody needs some ASUS in their life....
They look cool. And don't worry they are actually running at 2666
LIGHTNING FAST BABYY
+2100 Core and +4657 Memory. 55c at 70% fan speed.
I also got it for $400 new from EVGA in October 2018, back when the RAM and GPU prices had not yet settled down. Was a really good deal at the time. And it is one of the only 1070 GPU's that is 3 slot cooler. More cooling means higher overclocks. #BINNED
Great airflow, unlike the ones Cooler Master sold with the acrylic front panel that choked the system...
I love mechanical keys
I got it for free from EVGA. After I attached it to my GPU. I realized that it was also probably never coming off. Those of you who own one of these, know exactly what I'm talking about.
