Machine Learning build primarily using TensorFlow and Keras. I build multiple containers in Docker and the 16 threads and generous ram allow me to have multiple projects on the go simultaneously. VR-Ready.

Part Reviews

Rarely do I get more than 2 cores above 50% load because the OS is spreading the processes across the cores beautifully. Runs really cool under the X62 Kraken.

CPU Cooler

Awesome! A bit annoying that it 'forgets' its colour settings booting from Windows into Linux but thats a small price to pay for such an awesome AIO cooler.

Like lightning. EVERYTHING is quicker to load and store.

Video Card

Not much to fault really. The heat pipes aren't pretty but boy do they work well.

A beautiful case with flexible cabling options. Suits the X62 Kraken nicely. The screws that hold the Kraken in are round-headed though, and the main front dust filter doesn't sit correctly unless you use flat-headed screws. The addition of a security lock slot would be great but when the side is so easily removed for access, I can see why that might be redundant.

Power Supply

So good I've forgotten its there, behaving perfectly.

Can I ask why you didn't use Ryzen instead of that xeon?

I was building a machine learning rig and wasn't sure of library compatibility with Ryzen being so new at the time. You know, the whole "don't buy version 1.0 of anything" thing...

In hindsight it probably would've been fine. Oh well ¯_(ツ)_/¯
