How do you front mount the Kraken rad and still retain the HDD cage? I have the same AIO and case, but cannot see how to fix either the rad or fans to the case front unless I remove the cage.

I would like to know as well. This has bothered me with my build too.

I found this build for sale on eBay about a month back. I contacted the seller and he said that you have to drill new holes further up in order to mount the radiator without removing the HDD cage.

Nice build. Just wondering when you got the two GTX1080s as you could of gotten the 1080ti. But 1+ for custom sleeving !

Sleek cable sleeving and parts :). Is there anyway to look at the cable management behind motherboard? And I think you used MDPC-X sleeving? And what exact tools you have for sleeving? Thanks

Nice job! I really like how good the cooler cables look, usually I prefer them just tucked away but this is actually really nice to see them!

1+! damn! nice build! looks really really great! this is featured material... i would put the pwm pump cable under the mini usb tho...

  • 1 point

These cables are amazing. One thing tho, the pump cable doesn't really seem to fit with the rest of the build in a blue color... but that's only me. Otherwise, this build is beautiful. +1

Wow great build! What are the cable dividers you are using called? When I build my PC I'd like to get the same ones.

Sleeving job looks sexy. What's the random blue wire for the x62 ? I have the same cooler, but only have it plugged into the power / cpu_fan / usb

  • 1 point

It looks like he has it plugged into the chassis fan header instead of cpu, which is a little weird because chassis fans typically spin at a specific speed. But I too am curious since I might be wrong! Either way, amazing looking build!

  • 1 point

Well it looks like it's labeled 'pump'. So I'm wondering if he's getting any benefits of using that header

  • 1 point

Oh ya you're right, my mistake. I wonder if there are any cons to using that instead of CPU fan header.

  • 1 point

On my Mobo you can alternate between a fan header and a pump header in the Bios settings for the CPU_OPT and also, with that Phanteks case you can then run the CPU_fan back to the included Pwm hub for complete Pwm management.

I had at 5.0 GHz can't remember the voltage, bumped it down to 4.8 @ 1.35 and it's stable.

Man.. you were able to make the ugly USB/fan cables look like BEAUTY! This guy deserves a lot of attention I thinks. Someday I'll figure out how to sleeve that kind of stuff.. and do a few new builds on this channel.

I'm building my first pc and, after tons of research, I've loved your setup the most and I'm (hopefully) creating mine using yours as a guide! Obviously I have a lot to learn to get up to your godly cable management skills.. But I need to know if/how this same setup could work with 2 liquid cooled gtx 1080's? Would I need to bump up the case size? Again, simply beautiful work, and any help is greatly appreciated!

  • 1 point

Another question.. how do you get any airflow at all? That case has such small vents everywhere and your gpu's arent watercooled

  • 1 point

I have to say this is probably one of the best builds I have ever seen on PCPP. Your cable management and colour structure is next level. You should be proud, and all that gear inside

Well done! What a fitting name for the build. Me likey! +1

How come 3x140 mm fan fit the top ?

  • 1 point

I think he was meant to select 120mm fans for his parts list. Only x2 140mm will fit in the top if that case....unless you not it

  • 1 point

I agree with you . He must have accidently choosen that.

One of my favorite builds on PCPP!
