Description

Reposting this cause i want to tell my story building this system. I build it for Gaming and lighting up my mood kind of thing :) 2nd time building. My first was 2200g no graphics card and using screws for putting the cooler. Scary building this 2nd one. I’m not familiar with this cooler since i have almost no experience building except for the one on the top i told. Had to remove the cooler after putting it on for the first time cause i was scared i messed up the thermal paste too much by trying to put it in on its proper place. So while trying to remove the cooler, the cpu came off with it from the motherboard by force. Also while removing the cpu on the cooler, i smudge a bit of thermal paste on the pins of the cpu ahhhh. Got to remove it by using 100% isopropyl alcohol and toothbrush. Luckily it still works and no bents on the pins. Just wanted to share my story. It was exhilarating. Hope this helps whoever reads it not to be clumsy fool like me ahhh. It was good lesson for me.

A moment of panic will spice up any build! The important thing is you regained control of the situation. Were some of your parts free or already in your possession?

It works well. Looks bigger when you’re sitting down infront of it because of the curve. Didnt have a pc for a long time so just testing out if 24 inch is right fit for me. Was thinking of buying either 24 inch or 27 inch

Okay I will admit I did somthing close to that when I reseated my CPU recently... Hardware changes are annoying for sure but you know, **** happens.

Nice choice of parts! This build is very similar to my own, I went with the older motherboard tho.

Had an identical thing happen with me back in 2016 when I was working with an FX chip. Scary stuff.

Your post reads like a crime novel :) Glad your pc works well and that everything ended in a positive way. +1 from me, if nothing else for your perseverance.
