This PC was built for the family and also for me to have a little fun when I have the time. I wanted to focus on internet browsing, and moderate gaming for this PC, but also stay within my budget of $600.00. Mainly this PC will be used to play the upcoming Destiny 2 and some roller coaster tycoon : ) I also use this PC to stream video in high definition and am working on making it a moderately used plex server.

Part Reviews

The CPU does what I need and was a good deal for the cost. I am running this OCed at 4.3Ghz and couldn't be more happy with it's performance. I don't really need the speed for what i'm using this PC for, but this CPU chews up everything I throw at it. The T2 cooler is a little loud when operating on full speed but it does its job and keeps my CPU around 45C-50C on a full load.

The ASRock 970 board works well right now. I have not had any issues with this board and it has a lot of OC features in the BIOS. The only thing I don't like is that I cannot control all fan speeds from the BIOS. I can only control the CPU fans. On a side note it is nice that this board has 5 fan headers on it to include the CPU fan. I might invest in a fan controller though.

Kingston came through with this HyperX Fury memory. I have had no issues with it at all. Good memory for the price. Gets the job done.

Video Card

I picked up the EVGA Ge-force GTX 1050 TI on a refurb. deal . I was a little skeptical at first but, I couldn't be happier with the card. Card can run Fallout 4 on ultra and can stream 4k content. Does what I need it to do and probably more. Good card for the money.

Case is a little flimsy, but not bad for the money. Looks cool with red led fans and has plenty of space to work in. Not a bad case.

I wish I would have went with the modular power supply. My case came with a supply though so I just put that money into the SSD.

I like your build. The case looks nice . How do you like the CPU?
