Description

My first ever build! I decided to go the AMD route simply because the friend that helped with the build is an AMD nut. This thing can take anything I throw at it and then some. Used mainly for casual gaming and sometimes video rendering.
The case is my favorite part of this build. The amount of room in this thing is crazy! The only thing I didn't like was the side panel. Originally it was a black metal mesh with a 230mm fan in it. I took that out after adding more case fans and replaced it with some clear acrylic plastic. I think it adds quite a bit to the external looks of the computer.
Future upgrades include another terabyte or two in storage and a bump to 16gb of RAM. Thanks so much for checking it out!
HUGE shout out to MNPCTech for the GPU support bracket. Perfectly machined and sized for the case and card. Bye bye GPU sag!

Part Reviews

CPU

This processor is the perfect choice for someone who is not wanting to break the bank but still wants a fast and reliable PC. Nothing I've done to this thing has slowed it down.

CPU Cooler

Not having the best luck with this guy right now. I think the pump is starting to go. But otherwise a very easy and quick way to cool a CPU down. Very simple install. Great temps when it's working at full potential.

Memory

Might go bigger soon in the RAM department. I do a lot of video rendering these days and another 8gigs would benefit me greatly.

Video Card

Blown away by this thing! Not only does it have a pretty badass off the wall look it also exceeds expectations every time I throw a new game at it. It's prefect for the everyday chill gamer. 100% recommend this card!

Case

LOVE this case. HATE the side panel. Very easy fix with 20 bucks and a trip to Lowes.

Very nice build +1 one thing, how are the fans, might get them for my build

I love them so far. I bought 3 of the twin packs and only one of the 6 fans came dead. That's the only gripe I've had. I'm having to fill that gap on the rad with the stock corsair fan that comes with the cooler until the replacement gets here.

Would u recommend going with something a bit more expensive :)

I would say yes. Simply to guarantee you get 100% working fans when they arrive. ;) But lets be real, at 20ish bucks for two bright quiet fans can be a pretty good deal.

Hahah thank you:) I might just put one 140mm at the back of the case, would look nice with an LED strip then put some higher quality ones in the top and front

Iv'e never seen that case before, BEAUTIFUL!!!! I like the clear panel. I have 9 of those case fans in white led, they are so quiet, no issues so far with them and they make my case look great. Well done on your build!!

Nicely done! Yours is the first build I've seen on this site (outside of my own) with that GPU support. It sure is awesome. Have you considered painting that bracket black? I think it would really complete the look of that build if it matched better. I painted mine white to go with my white and black build and it looks fantastic.

They actually make one in black. But they were out of stock when I was ordering and my GPU was looking rough and I didn't want to wait any longer. To be honest I really like how it sticks out from the rest of the case. It's so well made I kind of want to show it off! I'll have to look into it though. I can always strip it back to the raw metal. I love the toxic GPUs from sapphire, they're cool, powerful, and are overall amazing

Huge card, cool colors, and one of the prettiest back plates you'll ever see. I love the thing. Plus you don't see them very often. I like things that stand out a little.

I have this case and want to make the side panel with windows like you did. What was your process? Could I get a picture of the inside of that panel? (Just so I can see how the acrylic is attached)

thanks!

Thanks a ton! I think I need to try different colors other than red though. ;)

I actually really like that! I'd love to do a build with UV lights. Something that glows under black light would loot really fun.
