To be fair, my FX-8350 is still a pretty darn good CPU, even works in a good chunk of VR games. But I retired it from my main machine earlier this year for a Ryzen and Vega setup. Then I updated another old machine with a FX-6300 chip to give it a boost.

Performed perfect for what I was using it for ... League of Legends but now I've been playing No Man's Sky and want better graphics but alas.

Ya ... Built this PC in 2013 for like 800. Only had to upgrade my 120GB SSD to the 1TB SSD you see in the build.

Wha... You didn't have both in the system!? The HDD and SSD go together like peanut butter and jelly!

Ya ... Never had a HDD only the 120 GB SSD. Was only playing league for the past years so now with more games I'm playing I need more room so just ditched the 120 for the 1 TB.

Why not both at the same time?

I guess the simpliest answer is because I don't really need it.
