My first build. Did a lot of reading. Watched a lot of videos. This is what I came up with. There is nothing on the market today, besides maybe BF4 (Since I haven't played it) that this machine will not play on ultra, or whatever the highest setting is. This is with a cpu temp around 32c, and a gpu temp around 48c. The 6350 was easily OCed to 4.2Ghz without having to change the power settings, and stays good and cold. Love the EVGA GTX 660, the card performs so much better than any other in its class/price range. The Raidmax case is exactly the look that I was going for, and very easy to manage the wires with all the extra space. The case also has a few features, like a port for 2.5 SSD right in the head. You can swap SSD's as if they where flash drives.

Not sure why you have the PCI ethernet, motherboard comes with ethernet. 800W PSU seems a little much. Not to mention the motherboard itself you could've saved on by going with something else. All these could've probably gotten you a 760/770. But it does look nice and you say you're satisfyied with it, should run battlefield medium settings

Could have saved money on that ram, and got a 760 2gb, and gotten a bit more performance. +1

Nice build. Look at dem sparkly LED's. More photos please.

For that high end of a motherboard, I would have spent the extra $10 and got a 8320, and then overclocked that.

You could have saved money with a cheaper motherboard and less ram, you don't truly need 16gb for gaming 8gb is just about the right amount. With that money you could have gotten an even better GPU like the 760 or the r9 270x or even and r9 280x. Oh and btw I suggest in the future when upgrading getting yourself an AMD gpu because: AMD cpu + AMD gpu = even better performace. But overall nice build really liked it!

? Nvidia and AMD GPU's have no preference towards towards platforms, or vice versa.

It does if you're going for HSA, as you can run the graphics portion of the APU with the AMD graphics card in a weird Xfire setup. I don't know how old your APU can be however for it to work.

He is not running an APU, and the only APU's HSA capable are Kaveri. Plus "hybrid crossfire"(like an A10-6800k with a 6670) has nothing to do with HSA, it is just the iGPU GCN cores working in tandem with the GPU for increased performance.
