Ice Queen build update

by Zanephillips67

Description

Hey All, this is a nice update for my whole setup. I originally built this system in Oct 18 and have been slowly getting it just the way I wanted it. I also got a nice Mount it! monitor stand for Christmas that has helped a lot, it and a little bit of cable management has made my setup look a lot cleaner. I am a pretty big fan of RWBY, hence the name. So I decided to do a semi Weiss Schnee themed build. Weiss in the queen of this build and always keeps things cool for me.

I also recently got a switch and added it to my desk. I am using an HDMI switch mounted on the back of my right hand monitor to switch it between my switch and pc. I really like it as I don't need a tv in my room :)

Thanks to ScatterVolt for helping me pick parts and put this beast together.

but can it run minesweeper?

I have a 1million dollar pc, and i can only run it on .000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 fps, and every time after i make my move, i have to restart it.

Nice build, just curious why you have two high refresh rate monitors?

I’m pretty much only using it because I already had it and it works with vesa mount. I am getting another one to replace it soon.

I really like the layout of the monitors and the PC aesthetics look amazing! What is the size of the desk and where is it from?

I heard bad things about that case, but it looks brilliant, especially with your setup.

I really like it! The only downside is cable management

Looks really great! Needs more m.2/SSD storage space though (personal preference I suppose).

no problem at all, just plug and play.

I'm copying your setup: same case, cooler and rgb fans :)

How did you attach the rad to the front 3 rgb fans? Only thing I can think to do is get a long skinny screw driver and attach the fans to the rad first, then attach the rad+fans to the case. Right now I've already got the fans attached to the case so I guess I need to remove them first.

Thanks and love your build!

Great pc man !! i am building a similar pc myself, can you tell me how does the h150i pro hold up against the 9700k in gaming and under full load?

also if its not too much to ask, a detailed explanation on how you connected the 9 fans? i too am going for push/pull on the h150i rad with 3 x LL120 fans and 3 x ML 120 fans, 2 x LL120 fans for exhaust up top and 1 x LL 120 fan for exhaust at the back. the total 6 x LL 120 fans i can connect through the commander pro, but what about the 3x ML120 fans? how do i connect those to the motherboard?
