Nice, And for the 360, can you use it simultaneously with the PC, is there some form of intersection, or are they completely separate?

Completely Separate. That means that at any give moment I can output 4 Screens from pc and 1 from xbox. Total 5 screens running at once. Trippin...

That case is worth $1,000?

Sandblasted neurons, led kit, fans, custom xbox 360 I/O plate, Origin logos everywhere, wooden crate...Yea I think so

I don't. Unless "sandblasted neurons" are something super special.

Nice gaming machine though.

Obviously it's that wooden crate that's driving up the price.

Integrated liquid cooled Xbox 360 is neat. Not that it needs liquid cooling, but hey, why not?

Would be nice to see more of the inside.

Some nice parts in there, and I don't think the case looks bad. Probably better in person? Guessing it's black plexi all around?

Anyway, nice, one-of-a-kind win.

Represents much better in that video. Cool rig man. I like the neuron graphic and the LED effect there.

Gotta love a PC that comes in a big wooden crate like that. thumbs^

Sighs, what a nice computer, and quite a clever way to integrate that Xbox too. Wish linux would give me a computer from time to time.

Am I the only one trying to figure out Microsoft's reasoning behind all the outdated hardware for a prize?

  • 1 point

The contested ended April 1st. Microsoft commissioned origin pc to build it. I guess this is what they had in mind.

Still, the contest ended while Ivy Bridge was out. The Vertex 4 was out for a while too. Nice prize, but I just gotta put down Microsoft on what they were thinking.

that case is humongous I would just take all the parts and put 'em on another case, but hey if you like it there's nothing wrong with that lol

It scratches for no reason. The screen is amazing, my only complain is the lack of HW home button.
