Description

Since I've got back into PC building, I have been acquiring parts and putting them together to see how good of a PC I can build for a deal (even though I think I overpaid for the GPU). This is the fourth machine I've built and I'm pleased with the way it turned out. It was easy to put together and cable manage, and I think it looks pretty decent with just a couple of RGB fans.

Why'd you go with an APU with a GPU?

It is what I had on hand after upgrading my daily use PC to a Ryzen 7 2700. Even though it’s an APU, it is still 4 cores with 8 threads. I added the GPU so it would be able to play at high settings.

No kidding I got rekt, bought it new during the mining craze. Looking at prices for it now actually hurts my soul.

Lol, I only said that because EVGA had a similar card for $130 yesterday during Midweek Madness.

Dude, paying for a 1060 6gb for way over 300$ is normal here in Canada lol

I haven’t played any games on this machine. I build them as a hobby and try to sell them to a good home.

Even though you didn't do this, do u know if u can vertically mount a GPU in this case with a vertical GPU mounting bracket.

I don’t believe so without modding the case.

I've read that intake fans don't help much with this case, which uses negative pressure cooling (https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3309-nzxt-h500-case-review-thermals-noise-vs-s340). What temperatures are you getting at idle and load?
