RGB Ryzen 2600x GTX 1080 build. Wanted to build an aesthetically pleasing build in an ITX form factor for when I start grad school in the fall. Will be using this to do some hardcore studying ;)

Quite happy with building inside the NZXT h200, which was easy to build in and allowed for good cable management. Opted out of the h200i since the included fan controller needs it's own usb 2.0 header and my mobo only had one (used for the Corsair lighting node pro). Could have used an internal usb hub as a solution to only having one usb 2.0 header, but went with the h200 paired with the Silverstone PWM Fan hub as a cheaper solution.

Definitely pay attention to the different headers on your ITX mobo to properly plan out your build.

Part Reviews

Good benchmarks and automatic overclocking works well. Included cpu cooler isn't too shabby, but can get a bit loud when gaming.

Nice ITX board but a bit overpriced. Paying for the ITX premium. Limited fan headers and usb 2.0 headers, so make sure you get the proper internal hubs for your build.

Hit 3600 MHz straight out the box with no tinkering. RGB looks great

Good cable management and still plenty of space to work in making building a smooth process. Looks amazing and love the simplicity in it's design.

Case Fan

Looks stunning and easy to install and control with Corsair software.

You can install a program that can control your RGB ram stcks. It is called “GSkill RGB”. I use it on my build (that I will be updating). And I love the look of the build. Well done. +1

Always like these h200 builds, but see contradicting info on gpu temps. How are yours when gpu is fully stressed (e.g. no 60Hz isync) and what is the ambient temperature?

I did build in the h200 my self and used three different gpus 2 were air cooled and one water cooled. Both air cooled were hitting high temps specially my msi gtx980 ti reached 83c and started down clocking and fans were very noisy. So i sold it and bought a used evga gtx1080 hybrid and fixed two good static pressure fans on the radiator push pull and now gpu temps while gamine never go above 38c and its quite while room tempratue is about 24 to 25c. My advice if you are interested on building in the h200 is go wii a water cooled gpu. Cpu temps are fine with a good tower cooler. You can see my build. Hope this helped

How are temps while having a gaming session? I wanted to build something similar but was unsure since I'm downsizing from an ATX. If it makes a difference I will most likely be buying a blower card.

Aesthetically pleasing? You nailed it! Nice job! Great part selection except for the fact that your power supply might be underpowered. I know PCPP says it will be alright and maybe even overkill. I got a 620w PSU and when my RTX 2070 came from Newegg, I looked on the back of the box, and it, to my surprise, it said at least a 650w power supply required. I returned the power supply, and got an 850w for $90. (Seasonic focus+ gold from Newegg) So I would check your manual for your 1080 so you can make sure you’re not causing damage to your graphics card. Just a suggestion so you don’t learn the lesson even harder than I did. And idk, your GPU may be a little less demanding than mine. But anyway, nice build!

Also, out of curiosity, do you not like glass?

Question about the fans, doing my first build I have the same board and case

Every YoutTube video I see on the fans its looks to come with a hub, so your saying you need an additional hub as well?

Could you be kind enough to briefly breakdown the connection setup to have all 4 fans connected ?
