Update Oct 15 2016: This computer has been a workhorse for me. I've used it for many games, shelling out money during steam sales, and additionally used it for work. I haven't had a single RMA to deal with...HOWEVER, I should comment that a friend gave me a brand new cougar fan (one of those orange ones) and within 2 months I was hearing the bearings. His aren't overly silent as well to be honest, compared to my choice of fans. It was bad enough I just threw it in the garbage, so just something to be aware of.
Between the fractal design case and fans, this PC is incredibly silent and stays very cool even using the stock cooler. Never exceeds 60 celcius, with a mild overclock on the gpu and locking the cpu at its boost (4.1, as I don't like any wait time for it to adjust).
My next step is installing an AIO to overclock this fx-6300 to a much higher clock speed. The purpose is to get better speeds in vector graphics and photoshops applications, even though I don't see much issue now. I also want to increase the overhead for the gpu in games with high physics needs.
Apologies for such late replies on your comments! I had checked back a bunch of times for a few months but didn't see any messages so assumed I wouldn't have any to reply to. I'll check in here more often if anyone else have more questions or follow-up questions.
Love this case! Love the airflow and the window is nice and large. Makes cable management a breeze, and is nice having the backside hiding my SSD and HD. Lots of fan mounts and has removable module on the top to use fans or reduce noise. Each module has sound dampening material on the backside. I've tried having it open with a fan, or closed and having a fan on the bottom and the sound dampening is very noticeable. My only complaint with this case (and thus the -star) is the headphone jack next to the power button doesn't work right, however it's not worth it for me to RMA.
Incredibly silent, even on higher RPM. I used this as my exhaust since it has a higher airflow rate than my other fractal design fans. I have to say, the rubber mounts really do make a difference, and investing a little more in fans is well worth it if you don't enjoy a noisy PC. The cable has a nice plastic woven sheath and is overall a very high build quality.
I debated a lot between TN panel or IPS.. 24" or 25", 144hz or stick with 60hz.. Eventually i settled on this beauty of a monitor.
I don't notice any ghosting with the 5ms refresh time, and I don't even use "gaming mode". I love the 25" screen size, and it works perfect for my desk size. I have no dead pixels or light leaks, and the contrast and colours are incredible! I play MOBA games, and high graphic games such as subnautica and ARK, but not very much in terms of FPS. I did however use this monitor to play Overwatch and still had no ghosting issues. I highly recommend this monitor, and my only complaint is no height adjustment (only tilt), and for some people no VESA mount may be a deal breaker.
