Description

This machine has worked perfectly so far and runs heavy duty games perfect. Only problems i had was that my GPU took 3 weeks to ship. Temps are perfect. Good build overall! The ram is stock AMD. I didn't really pay for it I used it from my old build so I will want to get different ram. http://gyazo.com/2434775ad1a69883d940c9217758f3e6

That's quite an overclock on that motherboard.

lockable 3 points 55 months ago

Whats your settings for that overclock?

Tnodolf 1 Build 1 point 55 months ago

Is that a good mobo? I'm considering it for my build.

I would get the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P, it's pretty much the same price but has a 8+2 power phase which is excellent :D

Dayum!.....That's blue

Very nice build for the money! Looks like one of my preferred builds. AMD all the way!

javierlrod 1 Build 1 point 55 months ago

What kind of led strip is inside the case? Nice looking build btw.

Nice build

Zambonie 1 point 55 months ago

Nice Build. May I ask how well is the AMD CPU and Nvidea 980 Working out for you? As in what FPS's are you getting, etc. I'm building my first build soon with the same CPU but with a Radeon R9 280X. For the last couple days Iv'e been thinking about switching to a Nvidea GPU.

Calebh43 submitter 1 Build 1 point 55 months ago

For now they are working great! Battlefield 4 Ultra settings I get around 130 FPS, Arma 2 Very High settings i get around 70 frames, Firestrike just tested and got 7000, of course with overclocking which is very easy with these components. Nvidia is a little more expensive cause they pay companies to give there cards more optimization. If your looking for games that are really intensive Nvidia is your best bet. Hope this helped. Thanks :P

Zambonie 1 point 55 months ago

Okay thanks. Ya, I think its a little to OP for me, xD, I'm not going to play such intensive games, and I will probably never use the full power of the card. I'll stick with the 280X right now, as its pretty much a lot cheaper, and suites more of me.

Awesome build. I was so excited when I saw the case cause I thought it was the Commander G42 like I got but alas.

bobby0825 1 Build 1 point 55 months ago

Great build +1. but I will choose AMD gpu if I selected AMD cpu. You are welcome to take a look of my build.

212 is mos def witchcraft +1 All other air coolers are just hoping dumb people believe their fake temp charts and buy it.

Hussein.H 1 point 55 months ago

Not very good.......! With a 980 I would have chosen some better parts.... :/

at what voltage are you running that cpu, that is a nice OC.

I have a feeling those temps are a bit off. I get about those temps with a Kraken X60 in push/pull on an overclocking motherboard.

Reconmidget 3 points 55 months ago

Maybe he got a good chip?

kinderblender 3 points 55 months ago

That hyper 212 is the undisputed champ for air cooling 8350's The thing is witchccraft, I swear

NZIGNANTI 1 point 55 months ago

It's all about the deltas

CoryTEO 1 point 55 months ago

My air cooler cools better than my water cooler. So it could be correct.

Calebh43 submitter 1 Build 1 point 55 months ago

Yea im thinking about getting liquid cooling and more case fans.

Yes I would have gone intel but it the costs are higher so I gambled for AMD. Its working fine for me though!
