Hey PCPartPicker's, I recently finished my first build, and proud of it.
Also a note, this project isn't finished yet and I do plan on finishing it.
Before Building this,
I used to own a prebuilt HP. Had some decent gear I enjoyed, and actually brought over as temporary filler pieces. (i.e current gpu, nvme, and RAM). Over time however, I became more interested in the custom building. The satisfaction of turning on a PC you've built never gets old.
Why The Name?
I had initially decided a name for the PC way earlier to when I actually started building it. Packing Light was meant to be a mid-tier build that had the fancy lighting and proved itself well in performance.
- When putting the RGB Headers into the fan hub, spent nearly an hour trying to figure out why the lights weren't turning on to find out I simply forgot the Lighting Node Pro. r/woosh
- More of something that will bite me later is the cable management on the rear, in the rush of building, I will admit the management is um, terrible. But, this will later be corrected with Cablemod gear.
Although I hope you enjoyed the build and the rant of a description, if you liked it, maybe check out the project plans and maybe recommend something better. It's greatly appreciated.
