Description
Out of respect for the FX line of AMD Processors that I used in my first build, I named my first true "gaming" build after that architecture. I chose many of these parts because of the aesthetics, as I have been playing on bottom-end hardware for the past 6 years and I don't need the best of the best. My goal was to create a rig that was visually appealing and could play any games I wanted at 1080p 60-120 fps.
This is my first brand-new computer and first SSD, and the experience is amazing. I can tinker with the overclocking of the CPU and graphics card and I really enjoy the RGB elements of the case, motherboard and RAM.
Part Reviews
CPU
Blazing fast, very good price to performance, and is unlocked for overclocking!
Motherboard
Looks beautiful, Gigabyte rgb software works well, and allows for plenty of expansion. WiFi is fast and overclocking is stable!
Memory
Looks and performs fantastic. Corsair ICUE software is phenomenal.
Storage
Very very fast. Moving from an HDD, this is lightning quick.
Video Card
Looks badass, puts out lots of frames, noise and heat. The graphics card equivalent of an American Muscle car.
Case
Great to work in, looks amazing and includes so many features for only 80 dollars. A no-brainer.
Power Supply
Works well, although the 24 pin motherboard power cable is a bit short. Would not recommend for a Full ATX case.
