Description

I was kinda on and off with the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080ti FTW3 in SLI and very indecisive with my setup, but here is my completed build. I moved my computer often from the bedroom to the livingroom and it was indeed heavy, til I built a second mini-itx build.

pt.3 will be a custom loop using EKWB.

Part Reviews

Case

With this case, I had an issue with the power shroud being incomplete, and I had to purchase the missing part from the manufacturer's website for $4.99 but they only had it in matte black. I spray painted it white and added an Umbrella Corps metal plate to it.

Great setup, do you use your Oculus often or is it more of a gimmick?

I do, but not a lot of great games out there. Only problem with the oculus rift is that, after 30 minute of use, the padding around it is a sweat magnet.

what are your temps like with the cooler master bracket, and what did you do to the pcie slots at the back of the case, i wanted to get the bracket but didnt want to mess up the case if i wanted to sell it on afterwards, and move to a new case, btw fantastic build

I cut it using a Dremel rotary tool and filed it afterwards, it looks clean tho and hardly noticeable. I was very hesitant to cut it in the beginning but I couldn't find a case that I really like with a vertical GPU mount capability.

As for temps, since I'm temporarily using a Corsair Hydro h100i v2 AIO. Idle at 28 degrees and full load at 78 degrees. House is super cold and I only have it overclocked to 5.1 so far.

That pc is just stunning. It's a shame it has to be kept on the floor, but It makes sense considering you have zero available space on your desk. Nice build and setup!

Question: So, you have 4 fans on your radiator for your cpu. You obviously plug two of them into your cpu fan connection. What are you running for rpms on the other two fans?

Are the 1080ti's bottlenecked at all by the 8700k?
