My first build I'd say it turned out well. Posted first try the only issue so far is a motherboard DIMM slot not working.

Part Reviews

Picked this because at the time it was the same price as the non x version. Gets a little toasty with the stock cooler making it by far the loudest part in my case.

Only 4 fan headers which may be limiting to some. Also had a ram slot quit on me, not sure why.

Overclocked to 3400mz without changing timings is fine by me, color fits well with my build and the heatspeaders are pretty cool.

Coming from HHDs this was a very different experience, boots to windows in seconds and applications feel very snappy. Wish I had bigger capacity to fit at least 1 game on it though.

Have this from my old pc, it's big chunky and slow, stores games just fine and hasent died after 5 years.

Video Card

A sexy beast throws out more frames than I know what to do with, it's so quiet and damn good looking.

Open high quality case, got plenty of room to hide my questionable cable managment a neat black and white look, the 2 140mm fans (no PWM) it came with are a bonus and it hasnt gone overboard with the RGB.

Power Supply

Nothing too special just a PSU. I mean the cables are nice.

Case Fan

So so quiet. doesn't hit the advertised 1000rpm the closest I can get is 930.

Simple non flashy RGB mouse.

Alternative viewpoint:

You said your framerates are good for now, and you're enjoying the aesthetics of the GPU. The CPU may be a cheap upgrade, if you like, on Black Friday 2020 ;) Maybe this GPU will live to be the bottleneck. It's nice to have a nice GPU and the build looks sweet. Looks good to me.

Great build. BUT, your gpu choice was questionable. I say this because you could have gone with a better cpu like a 3rd gen Ryzen cpu and got a RTX 2060 super and save some because that is kind of a gpu/cpu bottle neck from with what you have. Great build tho!!!!!
