you spent less on a 1080ti than i did a 1070ti

Must say the (transparent) screen that iBuyPower use as the side panel window is quite unique. (Of course others place the displays within a 2.5 inch slot on the side of the psu shroud but most wont be as clean)

+1 on the white theme and the order/cleanliness!

I love the theme and work you put into this, it looks awesome, but I'd be concerned about temperatures when you have that motherboard nearly fully enclosed. Have you monitored temps on your VRMs yet? I'd be even more concerned since you're running that chip under water (air tower coolers usually provide a small amount of airflow over them) and Gigabyte has been churning out some boards with questionable quality in recent years. Of course, I can't speak with certainty on that particular board you chose; it might be a great one.

Not knocking your build at all, just sharing something I believe you might want to look out for. Back when Sandy/Ivybridge was still new Asus released their Sabertooth lineup of motherboards and I owned one. They had a similar 'armored' shell, but if I remember correctly they had multiple tiny fans built into critical VRM areas because they knew it wouldn't be receiving much airflow otherwise.

Upvote for ya. Would be sweet to see this one get featured.

I wanted to go with making my build as white as yours, but at the time I had some real difficulty trying to find components that were even remotely white in aesthetics. It's a crime that manufacturers don't make white components often! You're an inspiration to go further for sure.

In terms of additional LED strips, might I suggest the Cooler Master MasterAccessory white LED strips? They're super bright and are a super clean white, at least in my experience.

Very nice and clean! Wish they sold the transparent screen/panel alone! You should use an Exacto knife to score the cuts a few times until it breaks if you want to redo the mobo cover but ofc laser cutting it will ensure perfection

It is a cool build, but not my cup of tea. I personally prefer to be able to see my hardware. I understand the "theme". But its kinda 'meh' in my opinion

Never thought of putting a fan directly under the gpu, brilliant! That case monitor is pretty neat, Goku is an OG.

Definitely a worthy feature. I love how super clean and minimal it is. Also +1 not only for the cleanliness, but that sweet DBZ decal on the tempered glass.

Very clean build OP! I must ask, what is that little white box underneath your GPU? (I think it may be a USB expansion hub, not certain though).

No mean to nag but here are some points: - you could turn off the task bar on the second monitor (the case glass) and it will look cleaner - you case has negative pressure which will accumulate dust, but will not affect performance - not a pointer, but happy to see another man of culture with Firefox

I’m working on something similar on my own Snowblind Element. A couple of questions for you if you don’t mind:

1) What are the CPU and GPU temps in your rig at idle and under load?

2) For the bottom fan, did you remove the two SATA mounting brackets and then screw in the fan there? Did you then put one of the SATA drives in the bottom covered portion of the case?

3) What’s your fan configuration like? I’m guessing the two front fans on the radiator as well as the fan at the bottom of the case are intake and the fans at the bottom and back of the case are exhaust?

4) With the top mounted fan, do you still use the magnetic dust cover? Just curious.

Beautiful, really wish manufacturers made more white MOBOs & GPUs so you didn't have to shroud them with plastic.

I'd take a white MOBO/GPU over RGB any day...

hi i was wondering how well your cooler does at cooling your CPU? I'm building one right now and i'm trying to figure out if i should stick with a prebuilt 240mm cooler or try my hand at a custom one i'm not going to overclock just want 60.c temps at stock
