A build designed for 1080p gaming on all current & future games running on High < Max 30+FPS. (For my friend)
Benchmarks: Valley ~39.6FPS / Score:1658 Fire Strike ~20-30FPS / Score: 5610
CPU: Awesome choice & saved $$$; no plans to OC
Motherboard: Everything about it is great, except that "HD Audio" is in the weirdest place. There are only 2 versions of BIOS so not much support there, but as long as it works I'm happy.
RAM: It works, which makes it a 5/5 in my book.
GPU: Its been doing real good. Besides benchmarks no real world scenarios have been tested yet, but I'm sure he'll be able to play all his games...I hope the GTX 960 doesn't pop out of nowhere in like 2 weeks xD.
Case: Fantastic Case. My only issue is that the PCIe covers were unscrew-able, so I had to bend the case to even put my graphics card in (See Picture); Also needed another fan.
PSU: Perfect until I saw the PCIe cable...I don't know who in the right mind thinks that having both 8-pin connectors right next to each other is a great idea...makes it impossible to bend & looks ugly. Love the flat cables tho.
OS: W7 Stable
HDD: Its a Sata(1) Seagate 1Tb 7200RPM...& it works.
Case Fan: OMG I hate installing the rubber anti-vibration screw thingies; Its nearly impossible to get to the one right next to the Mobo. Fan runs great :D
Final Thoughts: All in All I had a blast building this computer & would definitely recommend each part so long as you're aware of what your buying. I wouldn't change a thing. *Coming Soon: Improved Cable Management Job.
