Description

Hi, my budget was 1000$ cnd, went a little over :/. Will mostly play destiny 2, pubg and most blizzard games. Im still waiting on Video card. Took me about 1h30min to build, took my time to make sure i didn't ruin anything or plug at wrong place. It went very well, very easy to set up (so far). Debating if putting in some led strip light in there. Will post some pic once i have some.

Edit: Finally got my video card.. had a few problem with it(game kept crashing). Fix the drivers and now running smooth. Haven't OC anything yet, wont be for a while. It is so quiet, would think its off if it wasn't for the lights. The GPU fan only turn on when 60c but even if on, you cant hear them. I get an avg of 90 fps in Pubg. Runs Diablo 3 at max and it looks awesome. I added a few pics and the temps. Added some led light and it looks even better now. If you are looking for a decent build for 1200$ cnd, this is it. hope you enjoy. :)

This build is superb in terms of bang for buck:

  • 1600 is the best all around CPU
  • SSD (really important for me)
  • Large HDD
  • Nice but not excessive motherboard
  • Great case, gpu & power supply

Only things id perhaps consider: Overclocking the CPU another 8 gigs of ram

Well done, really like these functional builds +1

P.s. does it run quietly?

Waiting for a GPU is pretty annoying if you have no IGPU in the mean time >.<

I'm sure it will run very well. On the stock fan the 1600 is fine at e.g. 3.6ghz. I'd get a hyper 212x if you want to go for 3.9 ghz :)

What monitor were you suggesting? Cause the 1060 can't really push 100fps+ unless you play with the settings..

Games such as csgo can see fps in the hundreds and higher with a decent i5 pairing.
