This build is mainly for gaming currently. Got some larger plans for coming up that it'll serve me well in. AutoCAD,BikeCAD. Just some other design, programming platforms.
Kept the air pressure slightly positive. Keeps it cool and clean. Nothing DOA, all-in-all very happy with this build.
This was a variation of my contest build, so THANKS FOR THE AWESOME CONTEST, AND SITE, PHILIP AND STAFF!
What a phenomenal resource! This site made the whole build process turn from a few weeks to a few days of hard research. Thanks for your hard work.
Thanks to Xtrem04 for pointing me in the direction of the 5820k/MOBO combo.
Went with water-cooled because that seemed logical with what I expect this machine to handle. Did the larger Corsair in case I ever want to OC and handle the voltage a bit better. Havent seen much over 30C from my CPU so far.
M2 capabilities. I've been pushing a red/black theme and so does EVERYBODY ELSE, but I love it regardless. SLI if want it.
Pently of USB 3 ports. 2 Ethernets ports. Great buy
Good CAS lat for what its worth this will help more with some rendering and AutoCad, BikeCAD projects.
Man this thing is fast. Got this mainly for my OS to run smooth and for some larger games that I want to cut load time with.
Formatted quickly, copied steam library, and performs well when running games from it.
Ripper through and through. Quiet and keeps the temp down. SLI capable for the future. I love being immersed in gameplay and I'm so glad I went with this GPU, the experience is unreal. Ran 10 hours of 144hz Ultra setting on the Division and bairly broke 55C.
Aesthetic opinions may be mixed but gee whiz this case does it for me. Plus for the sake of candor, this'll be my first full PC build and I could use the space to work. All the space for cable management you could ever want. Great look, sturdy feel for it's dimensions.
Fully modular, easy to mount and hook up.
Little lackluster but nice to have on hand.
Aesthetically pleasing with a nice steady RPM. Helped balance my setup nicely. Very Quiet.
Can't say enough about this! Everything looks gorgeous.
