+1 for emasculating nearly every other build on this site with sheer brute force.

Any driver problems having an Nvidia card and a Radeon card in the same system?

nope there are none so far after rendering 4K 30 min video under 15 minutes

I can hear the feint cries of the GPU fan boys in the distance

My lord. This would be a content creator's dream. I've always wondered what it would actually be like to render videos with dual CPUs - and ones as powerful as those. Only slightly a lot jealous.

MightyHammer 1 point 46 months ago

he can't run both GPUs together, I guess?

dsargent7 1 Build 1 point 46 months ago

That GPU is one video card, not two, even though it has x2 in the title. It basically is two packed into one, but I was not referencing the GPU at all. The CPUs he's got running in a dual setup is what I'm jealous of. Though, at $400 just for the motherboard alone, I can only dream.

oh, I need to buy a glasses!

I think he meant running the R9 295X2 simultaneously with the GTX Titan that is in the PCIe slot just below it....

dsargent7 1 Build 2 points 46 months ago

Ha. I missed that myself. What a blunderbowl lol

I really love dual cpu builds. And even more if you have amd and nvidia in one pc. But why only 16 ram ? 24 or 32 would work much better for editing.

well I ran out of budget, but will get 128GB as soon as my next paycheck comes.

DoubleLoop 1 point 35 months ago

HI, can you give use some rendering ratios? Like 5 mins of 4k footage took ?mins to render?

Thanks.

drchoi21 submitter 9 Builds 1 point 35 months ago

4K 30 minute video takes around approximately 15 minutes to render.

DoubleLoop 1 point 35 months ago
