Update: thank you very much for the feature and the comments/feedback, I appreciate it.
I made a few aesthetic upgrades to my previous build, mainly:
switched to tempered glass case
switched to PETG tubing
used PrimoChill Vue as coolant
installed Cablemod custom cables
The cooling performance didn't lower much after these changes, considering that the airflow is a bit worse and the radiators had to be downgraded. But at least I can keep it on my desk without it taking up too much space.
I delidded my 7820X and increased the overclock to 4.7 GHz @ 1.25V. Seems to be doing alright; temps did lower slightly after delidding.
The previous MSI SLI bridge was a bit cheesy looking, so I switched it out for an EVGA bridge. Also added some more Samsung 850 EVO storage. My previous build didn't have a shroud, so it's nice to have one built in to cover up the pump and the rats nest of cables (shield your eyes).
I'm really happy with the clean look of the rigid tubing; this was my first time using it. Had a couple slip ups - accidentally loosened one of the fittings and didn't realize until the pump had been running for a bit. The blue coolant sprayed all over the cables, but I was able to wash them before staining.
PrimoChill Vue looks pretty awesome, I can't stop looking at it flowing through the tubing. I'm using the cobalt blue one.
I like the fuller look of the Cablemod cables. I decided not to put blue highlights in there since it'd limit my future coolant color options. The neutral black/white/grey scheme allows for more flexibility.
Thanks for checking my PC out.
