Reached out to EVGA gear up at the time, and couldn't believe it when I got the email. I just stated I wanted a small power house for work/editing/gaming. YouTube channel was going at the time.
Due to my personal life, just a lovely divorce and getting full custody of my three year old and nine month old, had to put it on hold. It is what it is, and soon enough I'll have it back up and going. Waiting for the dust to settle.
They supplied the GPU, PSU, Case and Mobo. Not going to go into huge detail on why I chose what I did. I'm very happy with the turn out. Will be finishing it with a second 2080 Ti, as well as chrome tubing come the beginning of next year. Going to sit as is for now unless I come into a miraculous $3000.
Kicking myself for the launch of both Ryzen 3000, as well as the new 10x sku. Could've saved $400 for 4 more cores and 8 more threads. Again I'm super happy with it. Probably will stay on x299 from here on out. Premier Pro and Lightroom for projects. AAA titles are more my thing now as I get older and don't have as much time.
Thanks for taking the time to read and check it out. Watercooling parts listed below. Didn't feel like adding everything in on the parts list.
-- Alphacool Nexxos 360mm x 60mm -- Alphacool Eisbecher d5 150mm -- Hardware Labs 360mm x 30mm -- Heatkiller IV Pro CPU Block -- EK Block on at the moment, upgrading to the watercool gpu block as well. -- Heatkiller IV GPU Block on the way -- EK ZMT 10/16 -- EK Compression Fittings -- EK Adapters
Also have a dozen or so Nf-f12s on the way. Doing away with all the RGB aside from Phanteks new RGB bar lighting. Will add that in as well.
Drains running out the backside of the pump. New trim on the way for the top and back. Back broke moving, top originally had a different rad and was cut to that. Replaced it and needed a new one.
Completed an x570/3600 build I'll be posting, as well as a direct die 9900k/Aorus Xtreme build. Need a new 9900k as I cracked my die. 😭 I'll have those up eventually.
I'm a a telecom PM, I know this is overkill. Just large spreadsheets, ticketing system and EMCO IP monitoring.
