Description

I wanted a future proof PC that I can use for high end gaming as well as high speed video creation.

I've always wanted to build my own PC but looking inside a computer, everything always looked so daunting. I YouTubed the hell out of how it's done and got hooked on Linus Tech Tips videos. After watching hours of videos and revisiting my PC Part Picker List every day for about two weeks to make tweaks to items after doing more research, I was confident in the parts I'd chosen.

I will edit this description once I have set up the Overclocking and have given it a really hard time with some high game graphics.

Uummmmmmmmmmmmmmm I don't think ur allowed to have such an awsome build on this website because they tend to make people drool. Please take it off.

All four fans on your radiators are intaking air, so unless you've got a filter on the other side of the radiators, I'd recommend flipping the fans around.

Personally, I would have gone with a mid-range graphics card and waited for next-gen Nvidia or AMD cards to come out. In any event, great build. I'm sure it will serve you well.

Welcome to the PC Master Race.

GPU isn't even in the first slot, lower ones aren't usually wired for x16

Not sure what that has to do with what I said, but all five slots on that motherboard are x16 slots.

Only slots 1 and 4 on this board are wired for x16, look at the images on newegg. Having a full connector doesn't mean it's there. Another problem with having your gpu on the bottom with other things on top of it is that it doesn't have lane priority. If a component doesn't get enough/any lanes it will run slow or be disabled.

I know having a full connector doesn't mean it's there, but if you check MSI's website or even Newegg's specification tab, it says that there are 5 x16 lanes.

I also know about lane priority, but I sincerely doubt that that will be a problem considering OP has a 5960X. I totally agree that it should be in the top slot regardless, but that's up to OP.

Very high end build. A lot of very expensive parts in there. Nice build for you.

Why did you go for the Titan X over the 980ti? Was there a specific application?

Isn't "Beast" Hardware enough of an explanation? haha

if thats your only mintor you are using with that pc i feel really bad cause you wasted a lot of money. and the people at linus dont even use 5960x for making there videos. what are you going to be doing that uses that much power. like what programs what games. i mean 5820k and 980ti would have been way better and you save 1000 bucks. im trying to be honest with you but you wasted a lot of money

980ti = Titan X for a cheaper price.....

The only thing you're missing is M.2. I would have gone with at least a Samsung 950 PRO 512GB x4 PCIE for the OS drive. Makes loading large apps and what not an instantaneous thing. Windows 10 comes up within a second after POST. It's just.. better. Other than that, this is a ridiculous build.

Wow it's been a while since I've seen a RAM cooler(because dominator is so expensive) +1 great build!

Why would you pay so much for ram?

When one pays for more than what something is actually worth, is usually just simply "because they could".

I could jack off to this

Two things. Did you just win the lottery? And that is extremely overpowered. I am drooling.

Thanks for your concern man. All good though, no coolers are touching any fans. I'll take some better close-up photos soon.
