Every time I build a system I strive to make it better than the last. That's exactly what I did. Not only does this perform significantly better than my previous build, but it also looks better too. This plays virtually everything at 1080p on the highest settings at well above 60FPS and is more than capable of playing at even 1440p. In fact, this was the easiest system I've ever built! Because I went with an M.2 SSD, that meant no SATA cables, ultimately resulting in a much cleaner look. Although I thought the NZXT H500 has a soft rubber finish to it because that's what it looked like in pictures I saw, I am not at all disappointed. I will be adding more fans, an aftermarket cooler and probably an RGB strip to line the case. Overall, I had absolutely no problems building this rig, couldn't be happier with the results.
A worthy successor to the 1600.
Beautiful board. I like it better than the B350 variant I had before. Although if you are using a Ryzen stock cooler, the shroud covering the IO shield will be in the way if you face the AMD logo to the left. But if you face it to the right, it blocks a DIMM slot. I will be adding an aftermarket cooler anyways and don't occupy all 4 DIMM slots so it's not a problem.
Fast, reliable, good looking RAM.
Not the fastest tool in the shed. But for a 1TB M.2 drive at that price, I couldn't resist.
Turing without RTX. Perfect.
This case is so simple to build in and looks elegant. I do think the standoffs could be improved though.
Get this with some CableMod extensions are you're golden.
