Built most of this rig last year for gaming but changed all the crucial parts, Mobo, CPU, and Video card in the last month. Also added a custom water cooling loop into the mix. Very happy with my changes I made and can't wait to see what this setup can do through all the benchmarking and overclocking I am planning for.
I know most of you are probably going to say that my PSU is overkill but I had originally planned to go 3-way SLI EVGA GTX 670 4GB with my previous build 5760x1080 gaming, on top of having a custom water cooling loop with pump and lights while all being overclocked to the max. I had two cards when I bought the PSU and was planning on getting a third but I ended up selling one card and one monitor to two friends and decided to get a 780. Eventually I will probably get a second 780 but who knows.
Had to make a few case modifications, plastic and metal, to get the (3) 120mm fan radiator to fit on top of the case and still have room to close the metal screen cover. Also, some of the plastic on the rear of the case had to be trimmed away to fit the 120mm Radiator mounted to the back outside of the case.
In some of the pictures I am using my backup Dell USB keyboard. My Luxeed U7 keyboard needed to be sent in for service to fix a couple LEDs that had gone out. The keyboard should be back soon.
I haven't had the chance to run 3Dmark 11 to get the benchmarks to add to this site but I did run the new 3D mark and Unigen Heaven 4.0. I posted a picture of each result. Overall the build runs very cool and I am very satified with my choices in parts.
EDIT: Ran 3DMark 11 today. Scores are posted along with a picture.
Putting together the build went very smoothly. I've had a lot of fun and really great luck with the original build and the rebuild.
Hope you all will like it!
PS: PCPartPicker didn't have my graphics card available as a choice under the parts list for the cards, so I had to add it as a custom part. Sorry for the confusion.
