Description

Thanks for taking a look, this is my first PC build. It will be used for gaming mainly with some mild video editing. I've been a console gamer all my life and figured its time to see what "PC Master Race" is all about. After playing games on this, I will probably never go back to console. I had about 6.5 months to source the parts and buy them as i was deployed to Iraq, which is the reason why some of these prices are so cheap. I would check newegg, amazon, pc part picker etc almost every day to find the best deals!

CPU-Speaks for itself, got it on sale so decided to pull the trigger

CPU COOLER-Total overkill but It was way to nice to pass up, I based my decision purely of aesthetics on this one

MOBO- I wanted something with Wi-Fi and overclocking ability

RAM- Again purely aesthetics...RAM is RAM

Storage- Got the SSD on sale and was gonna go with one WD Black 1 TB but saw on Amazon they were on sale for 25 bucks and had to get two!

Video Card- Knew i wanted a 1070 as I was only gonna be gaming in 1080 for now and MAYBE 1440, in the future and again i saw this on sale for 330 dollars on Amazon and had to pull the trigger.

Case- I started out with the standard S340 but changed my mind and went with the Elite due to the tempered glass, This case was absolutely amazing to work with and cable manage.

PSU- Cant go wrong with EVGA

I had a question, is the logo on the graphics card rgb? Or is that a different model? And which position are you enlisted for? Thank you for your service.

No its not RGB the FTW version is though if i remember correctly. I'm an Air Traffic Controller in the Air Force, and thank you!
